Ford F 150 Among Top 10 Used Cars With Smallest Price Increases
Data from iSeeCars reveals that the Ford F-150 is among the top 10 used vehicles that have incurred the smallest price increases over the past year.

The perennially best-selling Ford F-150 has landed on a lot of positive lists lately as the fourth-most leased vehicle in Q4 of 2021, ranking third in its segment in J.D. Powerā€™s 2022 U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS), winning Vincentricā€™s 2022 CPO Value Award in the light-duty pickup segment (along with the entire F-Series lineup), and was recently recognized as one of the longest-lasting vehicles expected to reach 200,000 miles or more. Now, new data from iSeeCars reveals that the Ford F-150 is among the top 10 used vehicles that have incurred the smallest price increases over the past year, too.

The Ford F-150 ranked 10th on the top 10 list with an average selling price of $43,807 in February 2022 ā€“ which is $7,448 or 20.5 percent higher than February 2021. Thatā€™s still obviously a significant increase, but far less than the average year-over-year jump of $9,080 or 35 percent for all vehicles.

The F-150 was preceded by the Maserati Levante and its price increase of just 10.8 percent, followed by the Porsche Macan (15.7 percent), Jaguar F-Pace (16.1 percent), Mazda MX-5 Miata RF (16.7 percent), Porsche Panamera (16.9 percent), Chevy Camaro (17.2 percent), Honda Ridgeline (17.7 percent), Audi SQ5 (19.8 percent), and Nissan Titan XD (20.2 percent). The reasoning behind each modelā€™s placement on this list differs quite a bit, however.

ā€œThe Nissan Titan and its XD heavy-duty-ish model are the slowest-selling trucks in the full-size segment and the Honda Ridgeline is among the slowest-selling in the compact segment, reflecting low demand in the used car marketplace,ā€ said iSeeCars Executive Analyst Karl Brauer. ā€œThe Ford F-150 is the most popular vehicle across all categories and was redesigned in 2021, so older versions are in abundance in the used car market and arenā€™t in as high demand as other pickup trucks.ā€
