Over 18,000 vehicle configurations were analyzed across eight cost factors: depreciation, fees and taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost, and repairs.Â
This comprehensive evaluation also took into account the CPO warranty offered by each manufacturer, along with mileage requirements for OEM CPO vehicles. Each vehicle was assessed in all 50 states plus Washington DC, assuming an annual mileage of 15,000 over five years.Â
