In recent months, the Ford Ranger has gained a considerable number of new parts and accessories via The official Blue Oval catalog, including a Ford Performance windshield banner, the more aggressive Tremor front grille for non-Tremor models, a front skid plate kit, and an off-road front bumper from ARB, to name just a few. Now, the current-gen 2019-2022 Ford Ranger catalog continues to expand with the addition of a set of new exhaust tips finished in either chrome or black.
The black 2019-2022 Ford Ranger exhaust tips are sold under part number M-5260-BCT2 and retail for $150. The tips are made from 304 stainless steel and measure four inches in diameter, though installation isn’t simple a bolt-on affair. According to Ford, the stock exhaust tailpipe must be trimmed before that tip can be clamped on with the included piece, though no welding is required. Regardless, the black tip fits all current-gen Ranger models, no matter the trim or model.
Those that prefer a more traditional look can opt for exhaust tips finished in chrome under part number M-5260-CT2, which retail for a slightly cheaper $120. The chrome exhaust tip is essentially identical to the black tip in every way, save for the finish, of course, and it also fits all 2019-2022 Ranger models, is made from 304 stainless steel, and measures four inches in diameter.
Ford continues to churn out new parts and accessories for the current-gen Ranger, though the next-generation model is set to launch in the U.S. next year, while deliveries have already begun in other parts of the world. Regardless, it’s a safe bet that the automaker will keep offering new upgrades for the current model, given how popular they’ve become in recent years.
