Currently, the 2022 Escape is available at dealers nationwide, as the Ford Louisville Assembly Plant has been producing the crossover since December 2021.

The 2022Ā Ford EscapeĀ represents the third year of the current, fourth-generation model, which originally launched for the 2020 model year. The Escape will receive aĀ mid-cycle refresh for the 2023 model yearĀ before another overhaul takes place in 2025.

In the meantime, the 2022 Ford Escape has received various small changes. These include the SEL trimĀ dropping the standard roof rack side rails, instead offering them as a standalone option. In addition, the 2022 Ford Escape Titanium ā€“ which comes standard with Fordā€™s 2.5L Hybrid drivetrain ā€“ hasĀ dropped its standard B&O Sound System; the uplevel sound system will instead be bundled with the optional Titanium Elite Package.
