Ford has revamped their compact SUV, the Escape, with new advanced driver-assistance system technologies, a stylish new ST-Line series, and a 13.2-inch display with cloud-connected SYNC 4 Technology. The Escape is now better equipped than ever before to tackle daily adventures, whether it’s navigating heavy traffic, going for lunch with colleagues, or finding the last parking space on the block. The Sporty New ST-Line Series
The new sporty ST-Line series, with its three models, features an athletic look that stands out with its black mesh grille, unique rear skid plate, and large single-wing rear spoiler. The interior is highlighted with red stitching on the door panels, seat trim, center armrest, floor mats, and steering wheel. The ST-Line models come with either a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine targeting 180-hp or a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine targeting 250-hp, with standard or available all-wheel drive, and an available hybrid option.
A Range of Escape Models to Choose From
Aside from the ST-Line models, the Escape lineup includes Base, Escape Active, Platinum, and Plug-in Hybrid models. Every model features ample seating for up to five and a rear seat that can slide nearly 6 inches, making it easy to maximize cargo room or create more legroom. The interior color choices include Ebony or Space Gray.Â
Hybrid Options for Every Need
The Escape offers two hybrid choices: a full hybrid and a Plug-In Hybrid model. Every model targets an EPA-estimated range of at least 400 miles per tank. The full hybrid model with front-wheel-drive targets an EPA-estimated range of over 550 miles. The Plug-In Hybrid model features four EV modes that allow customers to select the settings most suitable for their individual needs.Â

New available amenities include Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go, Predictive Speed Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Braking, Reverse Brake Assist, Evasive Steering Assist, and Connected Built-In Navigation. Other amenities include a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel cluster, Rear Parking Sensors, 360-degree camera, and a wireless charging pad.Â
