In May 2023, the automotive world got its first look at the prototype of the 2025 Ford Expedition. Thanks to Ford Authority‘s keen observations, we’ve been treated to early insights into the SUV’s mid-cycle update. Expected to sport Range Rover–esque styling tweaks and a substantial interior overhaul, the prototype has kept enthusiasts guessing with its heavy camouflage.Â
Ford is taking the Expedition’s interior to the next level with a complete cockpit redesign. Drawing inspiration from the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus, the refresh includes a striking coast-to-coast screen and an additional center stack screen nestled between the HVAC vents. Not stopping there, Ford integrates the familiar rotary shift knob into a more accessible position, coupled with a volume knob for added convenience. A revamped steering wheel design completes the significant interior updates.Â
While the exterior sees traditional mid-cycle facelifts with updates to the front and rear fascia, the spotlight remains firmly on the interior enhancements. As we await the official unveiling of the 2025 Ford Expedition, which is expected soon following the recent debut of the refreshed 2025 Ford Explorer, anticipation continues to build for this full-size SUV’s next iteration.Â
