This extremely unique 2020 Ford F-150 prerunner is up for grabs at Bring a Trailer, and it’s a pretty cool piece of kit in its own regard.

Prerunners – once reserved for scoping out off-road race courses prior to full-blown racing trucks competing on them – have become incredibly popular among enthusiasts in recent years, providing them with a highly-capable vehicle that can be driven both on and off the pavement. As such, we’ve seen some pretty incredible prerunner builds in recent years, including this pricey Ford Ranger with F-150 Raptor bodywork and the supercharged Mil-Spec Ford F-150. Now, this extremely unique 2020 Ford F-150 prerunner is up for grabs at Bring a Trailer, and it’s a pretty cool piece of kit in its own regard.

This particular 2020 Ford F-150 prerunner was purchased straight from a dealer and subsequently dropped off at SVC Offroad in Lake Forest, California, for a total conversion into an off-road beast. On the outside, modifications are quite extensive and consist of a set of Fiberwerx Deberti fiberglass front fenders and rear bedsides, a bed cage, a Baja Smurf front bumper with an integrated skid plate, Baja rear bumper, and 17-inch Method simulated beadlock wheels wrapped with massive 40×13.5-inch Gladiator XComp A/T tires.

Underneath, the suspension has been fortified with an SVC Offroad mid-travel suspension kit, an adjustable bump system, a bypass rack, track bars, King Shocks remote-reservoir dampers, and Deaver rear leaf springs, all of which are designed to help the pickup go anywhere the new owner wants to take it. Inside the cabin, the only visible modifications are red bolsters and stitching for the seats, which gives the cabin a bit of a custom look.

The engine that powers this F-150 is a different story, however, as its Ford 5.0L Coyote V8 has been treated to a a Roush supercharger kit and a Stainless Works cat-back exhaust, which help it pump out quite a bit more power than stock. That power flows through Ford’s 10-speed automatic transmission to both a 10-inch Currie Enterprises F9 rear axle and a Detroit Truetrac locker with 5.13 gears for optimized performance on any surface.

On top of this F-150’s $59,840 sticker price, the original owner spent an additional $74k transforming it into the unique prerunner we see before us, which is a lot of coin by any measure. Whether or not it sells for a discount remains to be seen, but we’ll certainly be watching this auction eagerly over the next few days.
