The 2024 Super Duty largely retains the same engine options as the previous year. However, there is one notable addition: the new 6.8-liter V8 now offers flex-fuel capability for “complete pickups.” This means that Super Duty models equipped with a bed (excluding chassis cab models) can run on both regular gasoline and E85 fuel.Â
Fresh Paint Colors
In terms of exterior paint options, the 2024 Ford Super Duty introduces two new colors: Darkened Bronze Metallic and Glacier Gray Metallic Tri-Coat. These hues replace the discontinued Azure Gray Metallic Tri-Coat and Stone Gray shades.Â
Enhanced Tech Features

The 2024 Super Duty introduces two new packages: the Heavy-Service Package for Pickup Box Delete (63R) and Pickup Box Delete. Simultaneously, the 360-Degree Camera Package without the Center High-Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL) Camera has been discontinued.Â
Trim Level Highlights
XL
The base XL trim comes with the standard 6.8-liter gas V8. Adding the STX package provides the option of upgrading to the 7.3-liter Godzilla V8. The XL is the only Super Duty available in rear-wheel drive configuration. It offers a basic work truck setup, featuring a black grille, door handles, and bumpers, as well as vinyl flooring and cloth seats. The XL also includes an 8-inch infotainment screen running SYNC 4.Â
XLT
The XLT trim offers several enhancements over the XL, including four-wheel drive and the 7.3-liter Godzilla V8 as standard. It features a chrome grille and bumpers, fog lamps, larger painted cast aluminum wheels, carpeting, and a five-speaker AM/FM stereo.
Lariat

King Ranch
Stepping up to the King Ranch trim rewards buyers with a Crew Cab-only configuration and exclusive features like a chrome tailgate appliqué, power running boards, two-tone paint, King Ranch badging, distinctive wheels, a special interior treatment with unique leather, a 14-speaker B&O sound system, advanced driving assist technology, a head-up display, power tailgate, and Pro Power Onboard.
Platinum
The Platinum trim offers heightened luxury, including power running boards, body-color bumpers, a satin aluminum grille, chrome handles with body-color surrounds, a satin chrome tailgate appliqué, 20-inch wheels, unique interior treatments, multicontour leather seating with heat and ventilation, and a power tailgate.Â
Limited
Sitting at the top of the 2024 Super Duty range, the ultra-luxurious Limited trim comes standard with the new 6.7-liter high-output Power Stroke diesel and features a Crew Cab configuration. It includes power running boards, body-color bumpers and handles, a power moonroof and tailgate, 20-inch wheels, a Miko suede headliner, premium two-tone leather upholstery, multi-contour seats with heat and ventilation, a head-up display, and the full suite of Ford’s driver-assist features.
