The Ford Bronco Sport: A Conquest Champ of Rugged Crossovers

Since its introduction in 2021, the Ford Bronco Sport has been a significant product for Ford, attracting a wide range of customers from various demographics. The rugged crossover has proven to be a conquest champ for Ford Motor Company, with a broad appeal that continues to be reflected in its sales reports through the first quarter of 2023.

According to Ford Authority, the percentage of female buyers of the Ford Bronco has increased by eight percent since its debut a couple of years ago, accounting for 31 percent of all retail sales. However, the Ford Bronco Sport has an even mix of customers, with 51 percent of owners being female.

Moreover, the Ford Bronco Sport has been successful in attracting buyers from other brands. Since its launch, 60 percent of initial Bronco Sport buyers have switched from other brands to this rugged crossover. Jeep is its biggest conquest, which is noteworthy considering the brand’s reputation for off-road vehicles.

The Ford Bronco Sport has also been recognized for its high levels of satisfaction among its owners. J.D. Power’s 2022 U.S. APEAL Study has ranked the Bronco Sport as the highest-rated small SUV in the market, indicating its potential to continue drawing buyers in the future.
